Namba Yasaka Shrine was situated just around the corner from our hotel. We reached fairly early, but there was already a small crowd forming. By the time we finished with a short stroll around the premises, it has ballooned, leaving several people thin on patience for their turn to take decently unblocked photos of themselves with the lion head.
